Respected Program

Elms College created one of the country’s first Master of Science degree programs in Autism Spectrum Disorders with an embedded Applied Behavior Analysis course sequence.

Understanding Behavior

We teach applied behavior analysis, which research shows to be effective in treating people with autism. Students have the opportunity to take courses in assessment and treatment of behavior, behavior consultation, and functional communication.

Autism and Communication

In addition to extensive autism content, courses in essential communication disorders information such as social skills theory and intervention — which are necessary for individuals on the spectrum — are integrated within the plan of study.

We now offer CEU credits for BCaBAs, BCBA and BCBA-D.

The Association for Behavior Analysis International has verified the following courses toward the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst® or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst® examination. Applicants will need to meet additional eligibility requirements and demonstrate they reside in an authorized country before they can be deemed eligible to take the examination.
